Frequently asked questions

How much does InvestorCFO charge for bookkeeping?

$300 per month base, plus $200 when a flip is opened and $100 when it closes, so $300 per completed flip. An investor doing 8 flips a year averages about $500 per month.

What does the fractional CFO add-on cost?

$1,200 per month on top of bookkeeping. It covers budget vs. actual, a rolling 13-week cash forecast, a capacity read on how many deals you can carry, and one monthly review meeting.

Is there a setup fee?

Yes. Onboarding is a one-time $1,000. It covers setting up the chart of accounts, per-deal job tracking, bank feeds, and the first month's close.

What if my books are months behind?

Cleanup is quoted per month behind, at roughly one month's fee for each month of catch-up. Six months behind with no deal activity is about $1,800. It is quoted in writing before any work starts.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Monthly service is month to month.

Do you do taxes?

No. InvestorCFO is not a CPA firm and does not prepare tax returns or provide audit services. Clean, deal-level books make your CPA's work faster and cheaper, and we will hand them whatever they need.
